CSC makes strategic investment in eBECS, adding a UK leader to CSC’s global Microsoft practice

 Sydney, AustraliaCSC (NYSE: CSC), a global leader in next-generation IT services and solutions, announced a partnership with eBECS Ltd., the 2016 Microsoft Country Partner of the Year for the United Kingdom.

The two companies have entered into a strategic affiliation arrangement in which eBECS will be CSC’s Channel Delivery Partner for Microsoft Dynamics Business Solutions within the United Kingdom, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and other areas of EMEA and North America. As part of the agreement, eBECS will be licensed as an exclusive delivery partner for UXC Eclipse, the global Microsoft practice for CSC as well as 2016 Microsoft Dynamics Reseller of the Year in Asia Pacific.

The agreement includes a CSC investment in eBECS. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

UXC Eclipse and eBECS are both focused on delivering end-to-end business management solutions based on Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft Dynamics 365, and its range of business solutions delivered on premise or in the cloud. Together, the depth of consulting skills and Microsoft Business Solutions experience will extend the reach of the CSC’s Microsoft practice across the United Kingdom, the Middle East, and nearby markets.

CSC launches Sydney Innovation Center and new CTO group

The Innovation Center, which was officially opened by The Hon. Victor Dominello, MP and Minister for Innovation and Better Regulation, showcases some of the industry’s leading-edge technology and applications in blockchain, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and virtual and augmented reality (AR).

CSC first to offer 360Globalnet self-serve digital claims technology in Australia and New Zealand

CSC LogoSydney, AustraliaCSC (NYSE: CSC) announced it will unveil, for the first time in Australia and New Zealand, 360Globalnet’s self-serve digital insurance claims technology, enabling customers to easily manage the end-to-end claims process via the Internet.

Showcasing the joint solution at an Australian Banking & Finance event in Sydney, Michael Neary, head of Insurance, CSC Australia and New Zealand, said, “The capabilities we are demonstrating will redefine the customer experience in claims management. Our collaboration with 360Globalnet will put customers in control of their own claims using smart features such as streaming video, data analytics and fraud detection – all designed with a view of improving customer experience and satisfaction.”

In March 2016, CSC and 360Globalnet, a UK-based digital insurance solutions provider, announced a new relationship, which included a strategic investment by CSC in 360Globalnet.

Under the terms of the agreement, CSC has exclusive worldwide rights to resell to the insurance industry all 360Globalnet offerings including the company’s advanced digital, cloud-based claims solutions.
