Liz has more than ten years experience in public relations for both consumer and B2B IT and telecommunications companies.
She is a director of both Outsource and Recognition PR and is responsible for daily business operations for both companies, as well as managing the consulting and production teams to achieve the best possible results for clients.
Liz is also Recognition’s media trainer and has trained executives from companies including: AMD, CA, Capgemini, eBay, Imation, Ingres, Mincom, Philips and Runge.
Liz has worked as PR manager for Telstra where she was responsible for public relations activities relating to Telstra’s enterprise, business sales, consumer, marketing and sponsorship activities.
Major projects she was responsible for included the launch of Telstra’s Foxtel bundle, managing media activities during the Manchester Commonwealth Games and welcome home parades for the athletes and strategic planning for the launch of HomeMessages 101.
Liz has managed public relations for companies including HP, Optus, Palm, Spherion, Factiva, Hitachi Global Storage Technologies, Britannica, Hitachi Data Systems, 3Com, Borland, LearnNow, CorVu, SalesLogix, Edify, Epson, FrontRange Solutions, Identikey, NetIQ, Digital Equipment Corporation and Autodesk.
Liz has a post-graduate certificate in management, majoring in marketing from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management.
Tony Bosworth
Tony Bosworth has more than 25 years experience as a journalist, lecturer and media trainer.
Tony has written for The Bulletin, Investors Chronicle, The Financial Times, The Guardian, The Times, The Independent, Daily Star, and The Times. He is the author of five published books and has also lectured at the University of Westminster, and Harlow and Lambeth Colleges in practical journalism and media law.
He has launched or relaunched 15 magazines in Australia and the UK, including Voice&Data, Which Car?, Car HiFi, Electrical Solutions, Business Asia and Australian Telecom.
He is a regular finals’ judge for Australia’s ITJourno awards and for seven years had a regular spot on London’s LBC radio where he ‘appeared’ every week.
Bosworth has produced client publications and been involved in developing marketing strategy for Coca-Cola, Boeing Aircraft, Philips Petroleum, Citroen, Macquarie Investment Bank, National Australia Bank, Collex, Readymix and lawyers Clayton Utz.
Tony Bosworth has helped media train senior executives from companies and organizations as diverse as Michelin, Boeing UK, Prince of Wales Medical Research Institute, Disney Corporation, Sterling Commerce, Runge, Phillips Electronics, AMD and Costa Foods.
