Sydney, July 19, 2010 – Wavelink Communications, a value added distributor of business IP, wireless and communication solutions has appointed Reggie Samuel as technical product specialist.
Reggie brings with him a wealth of knowledge in the wireless space, specifically for the hospitality industry, and in project management.
Based in Wavelink’s Sydney office, Reggie’s experience will further strengthen Wavelink Communications’ ability to deliver wireless LAN and voice solutions via its reseller channel. He will be responsible for providing technical support for Meru Networks enterprise wireless LAN offering, as well as coordinating the implementation of Wavelink’s Polycom KIRK DECT solutions via Telstra IP Telephony (TIPT).
Before joining Wavelink, Reggie was a regional operations manager for iBAHN where he delivered entertainment, communications and Internet solutions to the hospitality and enterprise sectors to companies such as Rio Tinto, Intercontinental Hotels Group, Crown Casino and Rendezvous Hotels Group.
Prior to that, Reggie was a pre-sales and convergence manager at DoCoMo interTouch where he focused on servicing clients from the hospitality sector including the Hyatt, Hilton, Inter-continental, Rydges, Mirvac and Accor Group of Hotels in the South Pacific Region (Australia, New Zealand and Fiji).
Reggie is a PMI/PMP certified technical project manager with more than 10 years experience in managing operations and information technology projects, and is well versed in network design, deployment and administration.
