UXC Limited has appointed Peter Grimes as Sales Director of Strategic Accounts.
In this newly created executive role, Peter will focus on building relationships and driving results for UXC and its strategic customers. He will head up a team targeted with further establishing UXC’s credentials in these accounts. Peter will work alongside Cris Nicolli, UXC’s Managing Director, and the UXC business unit CEOs.

January 19, 2015 – RSM Bird Cameron, one of the largest mid-tier accounting firms in Australia, has announced that Megan Smithies has joined the firm as Director Government Services, based in the Canberra office.
Megan’s extensive government experience will inform her efforts to build stronger relationships with the public sector. She brings a deep understanding of the challenges that face government agencies. Megan has advised on issues such as budget and economic policy, expenditure and review priorities, capital investment and divestment decisions, service delivery, efficiency and effectiveness reviews, balance sheet management, taxation policy and administration, risk, and governance issues. Before joining RSM Bird Cameron Megan worked within the government sector for more than 25 years. October 30, 2014 – UXC Limited is pleased to announce that it has finalised the search for a new Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary with the appointment of Iona MacPherson.
Iona comes with strong references and credentials. She has been a qualified chartered accountant for over 20 years and brings a strong background of professional development and experience, having been involved in a number of complex roles as well as working in organisations structured in a similar manner to UXC.
Iona joins UXC from Boom Logistics Limited, where she has held the position of Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary since 2007. In that role, she was pivotal in integrating and improving systems and processes; realising cost synergies across the business; establishing a sound capital management environment; and embedding best practice frameworks for financial management, risk and governance across the organisation. Prior to Boom Logistics Limited, Iona spent 4 years as Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary of Australian Air Express, a Qantas and Australia Post joint venture, following a 13 year career with KPMG in their Edinburgh, Hong Kong and Melbourne offices.

July 4, 2013 – Meru Networks (NASDAQ: MERU) has appointed longtime technology market veteran Jeffery D. Sage as Vice President of Sales for the Asia Pacific region. Sage, who is based in Singapore, previously served in senior sales positions at IBM, Tata Technologies and General Motors.

January 30, 2012 – Wavelink, a value added distributor of enterprise mobility solutions, has appointed Michael Pride to the role of business development manager for the Northern region (NSW, ACT and QLD), and as the sales lead for Citrix’s Zenprise MDM solutions nationally.
Based in Wavelink’s Sydney office, Michael will be responsible for channel management, working with key channel partners to identify and close major opportunities, as well as assist in developing channel capability.
Michael has 25 years’ experience in the IT industry in the UK and Australia. Most recently he spent five years in IT security with McAfee and Kaspersky. Prior to that Michael held various management roles at Primus Telecom Australia, Telstra Bigpond and Austar.
