Sydney, Australia – Brennan IT has been named the AusCERT 2018 Member Organisation of the Year in recognition that the company fixed the largest percentage of vulnerabilities or incidents reported by AusCERT through its member security incident notifications (MSINs).
Stephen Sim, CEO, Brennan IT, said, “This award wasn’t decided by a vote or a panel; it was based purely on performance and numbers.
“Combatting cyber risks is a key strategic business issue for organisations around the world. Like many other businesses, Brennan IT continues to search for ways to proactively improve cybersecurity across the organisation. This award recognises that the business has done that successfully and, although the work will never be done with regard to cybersecurity, it confirms Brennan IT’s ongoing proactive commitment to security.”
Brennan IT takes a multi-layered approach to cybersecurity recognising that attacks can come from a wide range of sources. It’s essential that individual security products and technologies work together to form a cohesive security fabric that covers the complete ICT environment – from the network and endpoint to the cloud and beyond. This is the only way to combat cyber-attacks and minimise the occurrence of a data breach.

Brisbane, Australia – Brennan IT has announced it re-signed its partnership with not-for-profit charity organisation, Endeavour Foundation, to provide WAN and co-location services. The three-year agreement extends the existing relationship between Endeavour Foundation and Brennan IT, which commenced in 2009.
The new deal follows an extensive collaborative process with Endeavour Foundation, during which Brennan IT engaged in multiple iterations of technical and commercial workshops to shape the solution appropriately. During this time, Brennan IT’s flexibility and focus on simplification meant the project expanded to include the migration of multiple multi-protocol label switching (MPLS) networks into a single, Brennan IT MPLS network.
Endeavour Foundation highlighted its key business requirements, largely driven by the changes needed to implement NDIS, as flexibility, consolidation and simplification of the current MPLS network from multiple providers. The Foundation anticipated this would deliver cost savings while providing scalability and flexibility for rapid growth and contraction according to its needs. Brennan IT also needed to guarantee system availability with confirmed service level agreements (SLAs) and a comprehensive support model.
