Sydney, Australia – AUB Group has announced the appointment of Elyse Henderson as Chief Operating Officer effective January 22, 2018. Elyse will be joining from National Australia Bank where she holds the role of Head of Transformation. In her new role, Elyse will lead and develop group service propositions including Business Technology, Business Centre and Marketing. This has been a vacant role for the Group following the creation of the Divisional Chief Executive, Risk Services role which Sunil Vohra moved into on a full time basis in 2015.
Elyse’ career to date has had a strong small- to medium-sized enterprise (SME) and business-to-business (B2B) focus both within large organisations and as an SME business owner. Her background and experience provide a highly aligned fit for AUB Group and its partner businesses.

Elyse was previously Head of Transformation at NAB where she was responsible for the strategy development and execution of transformation initiatives. Her focus was on the design and delivery of productivity initiatives across business and private banking including revenue, cost, and capital as well as customer advocacy, technology, and development of new industry segments. Prior to that she held a number of strategy and sales leadership roles within NAB.
Elyse also held a senior consultancy role at Deloitte where she led client projects diagnosing and solving complex business problems. During her time with Deloitte she also completed an MBA and led a number of internal programs including co-chairing the Innovation Council and chairing the national Inspiring Women committee.
Prior to joining Deloitte, Elyse worked in risk for QR and established and led an SME fabrication, installation, and maintenance business based in Queensland.
