3 August 2026 – Felton Industries, Australia’s leading designer, manufacturer and supplier of Australian-made premium aluminium outdoor furniture, today opened applications for the 2026 Felton Grant.
Australian schools and community sporting clubs are invited to apply for a share of $40,000 through the 2026 Felton Grant, with applications opening on Monday, 3 August 2026.
The Felton Grant helps schools and sporting clubs create more inclusive, welcoming outdoor spaces by providing high-quality Australian-made outdoor furniture.
The 2026 program will award up to $40,000 in funding to eligible organisations across Australia, supporting projects that encourage connection, wellbeing and greater use of outdoor environments.
Drew Mackinnon, marketing manager, Felton Industries, said, “The grant reflects Felton’s commitment to giving back to the communities it serves. Schools and sporting clubs are at the heart of communities across Australia, and we know that well-designed outdoor spaces make a real difference to how people learn, play and connect.
“The Felton Grant is about helping organisations create places where students, players, families and supporters can come together. Each year, we’re inspired by the ideas and passion of applicants, and we’re looking forward to supporting another group of projects in 2026.”
Recipients of the 2025 Felton Grant say the funding has transformed their outdoor spaces and strengthened their communities.
John Richardson, director – facilities, Camden Rugby Union Club Inc, said, “The grant has meant the club could improve facilities for players and spectators.
“Camden Rugby Union Club is the proud owner of a Felton portable grandstand. We have been able to use this on our hill to provide a much-improved seated viewing experience for our spectators. The grandstand is structurally very strong but easy to move, which has provided us with flexibility in its use. The seating is comfortable and provides a safe environment for our spectators.”
Mary-Anne Zahnow, deputy principal and health and safety advisor, Mossman State High School, said, “Thanks to the Felton Industries grant, Mossman State High School now has a fantastic all-weather seating area for our outdoor sports courts and oval. Not only have our HPE classes been using it constantly, but other classes, including science, are also using it as an outdoor learning space. From the moment it was assembled, students claimed it as their lunchtime hangout space and have already asked for another one. Thanks, Felton.”
